The Hairdressing Council of Ireland has been accepted by the OMC world hairdressing organisation as a member.
The Hairdressing Council facilitated 17 competitors under the umbrella of ‘Team Ireland’ to Paris to the OMC World Hairdressing and Aesthetics Championships during 2017. They had great success again. For 2018 they will facilicate a ladies and mens hairdressing team, a makeup team, a bodypainting team and a nails team… so if interested in competiting at world level in the future please contact the Hairdressing Council. To date the team have been awarded over 160 medals and trophies at International, European and World Championships.
Maeve O’Healy-Harte, General Secretary of the Hairdressing Council has been the President of the OMC World Hairdressing Organisation for the Western Zone for over eight years now and is fully involved in all aspects of international competitions and is manager of Team Ireland and is always available for advice for competitors
